FRANCHISE PLAYER RULE

Starting in the 2005 draft, if a team drafts a rookie in the first 5 rounds and never releases him, that team may name that player its "franchise player" and protect him as a free 6th keeper forever (as long as he's never been released). No team may have more than 1 franchise player. Teams with a franchise player lose their last pick in the draft since they'll have one more player.

Players will be considered "rookies" when:
1) They have played minor league ball in America
2) They haven't exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues

The third time an owner doesn't answer a trade offer within seven days he will be kicked out of the league. (After seven days you may forward the e-mail with the trade offer to the commish: that would be the evidence. Once the commish has two complaints about an owner not responding he will send him an e-mail so as to check his e-mail is working properly. If in fact it is working properly and there is another complaint he will be kicked out of the league. Also, owners have to send an e-mail before leaving for vacation or if they know they will be busy and won't have enough time to talk trade so as not to be kicked out.)

All teams must have enough players at each position to submit a starting lineup all the time (season and offseason)
