PLAYOFF PICTURE I was wrong last week. Maniacs did have the chance to clinch a playoff spot, and they did after a dramatic win over the Frogs. And the Stranglers didn't need a Cubs win, they made the playoffs despite the Cubs' usual loss. The Fury secured a first round bye beating the Terriers with nine steals. Whereas the Black Sox and Howlers lost all chances of making the postseason after losing to the Stranglers and the Monkeys. The Terriers could clinch the last playoff spot in the American Division with a win over the Monkeys next week. The Monkeys need a miracle: two wins and two Terriers losses. In the International Division, the Delivery Boys can clinch a spot with a win over the Walkers. The Turtles need a win and a Walkers loss. Hopefully, I got it right this time. |
