WEEK 18

SPEEDY TURTLES
by D.X.Pert

During the All-Star break, the Mad Turtles had a 6-8 record and things didn't look good. Well, that's in the past now because they won four straight and could make the playoffs taking advantage of the Walkers and Howlers losing streaks. The keys were Reyes' speed, Schilling's return as closer, and Giambi's offensive explosion (already over). They still have a lot of work to do but they will be in the race until the very end.

Terriers and Maniacs won't be able to clinch a playoff spot next week yet, but they're heavy favorites in the race for the final two spots in the American Division.

In the International Division, the Stranglers could clinch a spot with a win but they'd also need a Cubs' win over the Walkers. What are the chances of that happening?

Champs Howlers need a win to stay in the race, otherwise they won't have the chance to defend their title.
