WEEK 12

FLAMETHROWERS by D.X.Pert

Punturere is famous in this league for being a sucker for pitchers. He has built his franchise around them and last year the strategy proved to be a success. This season is another story. The Mad Turtles started 3-5, mainly due to injuries to Schilling and Wood and Big Unit's slow start. However, parity is the buzzword this year and the team still has good chances of making the playoffs. Now they're dangerous because Wood is back, Schilling should return soon and the GM took advantage of Terriers' panic after Prior's latest injury and moved Big Unit in exchange for the young stud. Now they have one hell of a rotation that I'm sure puts fear in many opposing managers.
We had a scoring explosion last week! The Black Sox and Fury almost set a new record for points scored in a game. This just proves these two teams are red hot and should be contenders until the very end.
Different story for the Maniacs. They only needed 276 points to beat the awful Belfast Cubs, who now have lost eight in a row and are closing in on their record of eleven straight losses.
