WEEK 10

BACK IN THE RACE by D.X.Pert

The Maniacs started the season 0-3 and their roster didn't show many reasons to be hopeful. However, Spalding knew they could turn things around and now they enjoy a 3-game winning streak. They are doing it with consistency, scoring over 310 every week, and with a few stars like Pujols, Edmonds and Ryan. The best news is that when Harden comes back and Schmidt finds his groove they'll be ready to make a run at the division.
Their counterpart are the Monkeys. They started 3-0 but are 1-6 since week 4. Mainly, they've been unlucky and we shouldn't count them out since they have Guerrero, D.Lee, B.Roberts, A.Jones, Clemens, Hudson and C.Zambrano. However, they'd better starting winning soon.

It isn't much of a feat, but the Howlers have beaten the Cubs the five times they've faced each other. For a second year in a row, the Cubs are the laughingstock of the league and yet their front office doesn't seem to be worried at all.

In the next weeks we'll see if there's a dominant division or the apparent parity is a reality.
