WEEK 9

MONEYBALL by D.X.Pert

Ray Breault, a.k.a. Billy Beane's disciple. The Stranglers' manager is following the master's recipe and things are going great for the franchise. Highest on-base percentage in the league, young talented pitchers, lots of power and no risks taken on the basepaths. This solid balanced team has won 4 games in the last 5 weeks and leads the International Division. Barring injuries, they should be playing in September.

Another close win for the Black Sox. So far they've done it mainly with hitting. However, Oliver Perez seems to be finding his groove and Burnett is healthy now. Maybe they can give a fight to the Fury and the Terriers.
What's wrong with the Monkeys? They are 1-5 in the last 6 weeks after a 3-0 start. The loss of Vladimir Guerrero was a tough blow but they have D-Lee, Roberts and a great pitching staff and should recover soon.
The Belfast Cubs lost their fifth in a row... they could use a four-leaf clover right now.
