The Howlers are amazing. Do you think they could go undefeated? I don't, 21 games are too many and this is a competitive league (yes, despite the Belfast Cubs). It must be frustrating for the rest of the teams. Come on, how come now all of a sudden Hideki Matsui and Sean Casey are stats? Nobody saw this coming.

Congratulations to the Mad Turtles and the Drunken Monkeys. They are the only ones in this league who have had the guts to make a deal. It was Tom Glavine and Ken Griffey Jr for Corey Koskie and Jose Reyes. Believe me, I know what you're thinking: the Turtles got robbed! It sure looks that way right now but let's analyze this for a minute. So far, in 2004 the best players in this deal have been Glavine and Junior, however the Turtles have lots of pitchers and actually never used Glavine, and we know Junior is going to get injured sooner or later. Now, the Turtles needed a third baseman and when, or if, he comes back Reyes will be one of the best 2nd basemen/shortstops in the league. I guess we'll have to wait a few months to see who wins with this trade.
